Our payment processor, Authorize.Net, began experiencing intermittent outages over the last 48 hours and appears to have been completely down for at least the last part of today. As a result, you may have an issue during checkout that prevents your order from completing successfully.
There's no harm in trying to place your order to see if they've restored service. If, however, your payment gets declined or you wait for more than 30 seconds after submitting your payment then unfortunately they're still down. Bummer. Authorize.Net is a top tier payment processor so we certainly don't expect this issue to persist for very long but unfortunately all we can do right now is monitor the situation and keep trying.
We've been hearing from several of you that you wanted to get in at the last minute of our holiday schedule originally set to end at the beginning of the new year. It seems just cruel to tell you no when it's not your fault that you couldn't place your order! With this comes the good news that we'll be extending the holiday sale until midnight on January 11th. That should give everyone enough time over the coming week to get an order in once everything returns to normal.
As for when you might receive your new order, the holiday sale completely cleaned the shelves here! They're literally 100% empty with no hoops built and ready to ship out quickly. We're working hard to build our inventory back up but our current estimate is that a new order will take approximately 2 weeks to ship.
Thank you all for such an amazing 2014 holiday season and as always, if you have any questions about this or anything else feel free to write us at email@example.com.
